"Farm: Las Neblinas Estate Farms (Fincas Puerto Arturo and El Carmencito) We are the 5th generation of coffee producers in our family (my kids will be the 6th!). Las Neblinas Estate Coffees is made of two farms: Puerto Arturo and El Carmencito. They are small but very productive plots with over 150 years of history. Located on the highest My father, who used to grow coffee in the Eastern part of the country, bought the two farms after falling in love with Apaneca-Illamatepec. He gave the farms to me and my husband as a gift and they have a very strong sentimental value to us. We took over in 2014 and turned two traditional farms into specialty coffee-producing ones by replanting 90% of the trees with new varieties and introducing new processes."
