Finca San Cayetano was purchased 15 years ago from a relative of our family. It neighbours another of our farms, La Fany in Apaneca, and José Ramírez looks after both of them. We employ around seven permanent workers during the off-season for jobs such as pruning, managing shade trees, applying fertilizers, etc.  That number goes up to between 50 and 70 workers during harvest. We started renovating the coffee trees last year and from our 15 hectares, we have already renovated 4. We plan to continue the renovation process for another 4 years. "
