CAFE DEL NORTE is a curated blend of coffees from various smallholder producers across the northern regions of Amazonas and Cajamarca, Peru. Its name is a tribute to its origin — a land known for its high elevations, rich biodiversity, and long-standing tradition of producing high-quality coffees.
This lot brings together the work of several farming families who share our values and commitment to quality. The main varieties include Bourbon, Catuaí, and Villa Sarchi, among others — all grown under shade and with environmentally respectful practices.
At Gocta Coffee, we are not only exporters — we are also producers. We are involved in every step of the post-harvest process to ensure quality and traceability. The cherries are selectively handpicked, depulped on the same day of harvest, fermented for 36 hours, and dried slowly in solar dryers to enhance the cup’s clarity and complexity.
The result is a clean, well-balanced cup, scoring 83 to 84 points, perfect for roasters seeking consistent quality and strong social impact at origin.
