The coffee farm is produced under shade with native plants and biodynamic practices under Demeter certification standards.
The area of the farms in El Palomar, Sanchirio is within the "National Coffee Park", Title that has been earned by highlighting its fertile soils, altitudes and microclimates conducive to the cultivation of fine coffees in Peru. In addition, in this mountainous area there are several water sources, which are protected and supply drinking water to the community of Palomar where the farm La Chacra D' Dago is located.
The area of the farm is an important habitat and refuge for the flora and fauna of the area. The animals that have been seen in the area include the Yellow porcupine, armadillo, peccaries, common opossum, and birds such as the bellbird, cock-of-the-rock, and goldfinch. The presence and importance of the fauna on the farms reflects the work of Biodynamic Agriculture.
The project of Chacra D Dago is to create a little school for children who have not yet entered elementary school.
