The coffee story

This is a very small lot produced by Oscar Carvallo, owner of Finca Cusuba in the Lempira Department, Southwest Honduras. He started experimenting with natural process in 2019 and has been producing small volumes of this coffee ever since. Through Cosagual, Oscar receives technical training and assistance to improve the quality of his coffees.

Notes of french toast and blueberry jam in the nose, natural wine and nutella in the cup, with medium lactic acidity and medium velvety body. Sparkling and juicy, with intense flavours and lingering finish.

Es un café cultivado a 1680 msnm, en una finca establecida con sistema agroforestal, empleando la vegetación natural como sombra. La cosecha se realizó cosechando solo las cerezas rojas en su punto optimo de maduración. El proceso de secado se realizó en zardas o camas africanas, en secadora solar de domo para evitar humedad posterior a la cosecha. El secado fue realizado por el productor en su finca y tardó 23 días para su secado final. Un café producido con mucha dedicación y pasión.

Shipping
Once the ordering period ends we will consolidate all coffees in a shared container. During transport, your coffee is fully insured. We will keep you informed about the shipment status.

Upon arrival of the coffee at the warehouse, you can choose between 2 delivery modes:

  • Doorstep delivery: We will take care of transport to your roastery. We will provide your coffee fully insured until it is ready for unloading from the truck at your roastery.
  • EXW (ex. warehouse) means that we will provide the coffee ready for pick-up at the terminal of the warehouse. You are responsible for organising transport and insurance from the warehouse to your roastery.

Currently, we can deliver coffee anywhere in Europe, except Hungary. For all European buyers, the coffee will be provided custom cleared in any case. Roasters in Switzerland choosing EXW will be responsible for customs clearance.

Currencies
When calculating price, you can select your preferred currency: USD, CHF, EUR, or GBP.

Pay your coffee after its delivered in Europe. This option generates an additional fee, displayed in the shopping cart.
