The coffee story

Finca La Bendición is located in the municipality of Tambla, Lempira, and in the heart of the Opalaca region, which began its establishment in 2005 as a family business of Mr. Allan Mejia and his wife Blanca Gavarrete who belong to COCAFETAL Cooperative, both of whom had coffee growing roots. involved in the wonderful world of coffee so they decided to establish their own farm with an initial area of ​​1.40 hectares

Currently there is an extension of 7.6 hectares separated into 4 lots. Since 2017, the plot has been managed in an eco sustainable way, practicing Organic agriculture, so that within the farm the native shade varieties of the broadleaf forest are preserved, combined with fruit trees that serve as a refuge for many species of wildlife that inhabit the area. the region, as well as migratory birds.

•The coffee produced by Finca La Bendición is carefully harvested, separating it by variety and then goes through under  the process Washed and some micro-lots with the natural process. Drying it in dome type solar dryers and Patios. 

•The excellent climatological and geographical conditions where the farm was established, added to the love, dedication and dedication to coffee growing, allow us to produce a coffee with a very good profile in the cup, with citrus, peach, honey, delicate acidity and caramel notes that make us feel proud of the end result of our work.
