Our innovative processing methods

We began in the coffee journey in 2012, and we brought an extensive agricultural knowledge since 1995, whit the avocado crop. Since 2012, when we began on the coffee world, we started to see and heard about the specialty coffee, and when we try it (It was a cold brew Moca) we just knew we had to be part of it! thats why, in 2016, Shady & Elias Bayter, the 2nd generation at El Vergel, started to build the varietals project, which has been a great sucess, reaching all ready the US, UAE, and Asia markets. At el Vergel, they are focused on developing unique coffee profiles through innovative methods of growing, fermenting, drying ans storage systems, on more than 8 varietals at our farm, in which we have Java, Pacamara, Gesha, Laurina, Red Borbon and others. On the other hand, they are very involved on growing the coffee in a sustainable way, therefore, they have left 60 hectares of their farm for a natural forest, which is aim to become one of the biggest ecological forests of the region.
