The coffee story

Athi factory is part of Nunkunu farmers co-operative society. Membership is at 560, with 260 female producers and 300 male. It is located along Meru Maua road in Igembe Central near Meru National Park. Due to the fertility of this region and for producer income sustainability, the  farmers in this region  also  engage in growing tea and miraa (khat).
