Unravel Merchants is the culmination of over a decade of experience in farm ownership, agricultural operations, and production, strengthened by strategic collaborations with other producers. We’re a specialty green coffee company led by Steve Holt in Evergreen, Colorado, that co-produces remarkable coffees with Ashenafi Argaw of Ardent Exports in Ethiopia. We offer direct access to the farm and can work with you to develop the profiles you’re looking for. It’s a fully cooperative model, with no gaps between roaster and producer. Having imported coffee into the USA up to now, Unravel partnered with Algrano in 2025 to offer a smoother forward buying experience for roasters. It’s the best of two worlds. We’re able to focus on our core—production and processing of outstanding coffees—while offering quality assurance, traceability, great customer service, and all the conveniences of online stock management of Algrano’s platform.
