MCG was created by a group of estate owners in Mandalay District after the 2013 coffee crisis, when farmers were cutting down their trees due to low prices. We market estate coffees and buy cherries from smallholders in our area and in Shan State. With a modern processing facility, MCG is a leader in the specialty community in Myanmar. The group was among the first in the country to pay more for cherries and has increased payments for quality continuously. All coffees are fully traceable; smallholder lots are produced organically.
