This coffee is produced by 10 women from ASOPCAFA, an association located in the north of Huila, Colombia. It was created with one clear intention: to honor and recognize the women who not only work the land, but also carry the responsibility of their homes and families.
Lina Moreno, Cecilia Chávez, Edith Rojas, Mery Avilés, Sandra Polanía, Orfilia Portela, Flor Alba Avilés, Neida Romero, Ana Fedith Díaz and Maritza Yaima are the women behind this Regional Blend.
This blend brings together their coffees — including Castillo, Colombia, Caturra and San Bernardo varieties — all carefully washed processed. The result is a regional expression that reflects both the richness of Huila’s terroir and the dedication poured into every step, from harvest to drying.
Statistically, women often carry the heaviest workload on coffee farms. They work in the fields, manage post-harvest processes, care for the children, and support the workers — yet traditionally, men are the ones who appear in the credits and receive the recognition. Not here. This blend intentionally places the spotlight where it truly belongs — on the women whose hands and make it possible.
