"The attention to picking and the 48-hour dry fermentation helps this ethiopian-derived hybrid varietal to show notes of yellow fruits, citrics and floral, adding complexity to the deep brown sugar sweetness." - Ensambles de Cafes Mexicanos, S.A. DE C.V.Download producer's gallery

The coffee story
This coffee is produced by Alejandro Martinez, a 4th generation cofffee grower in Coatepec, Veracuz.
It is shade grown, weeding is chemical-free.
Coffee varietals initially planted in Coatepec were typica and bourbon. Nowadays, Alejandro is exploring alternative varietals that adapt to new climate conditions. This lot is H16, a cross between an ethiopian varietal (ET01) and a leaf rust resistant varietal (T5267).
The coffee is processed at Ernesto Perez´ mill, who is a Q processor certified producer living nearby.
