The coffee story
*This lot is being offered by San Miguel with a minimum order of 10 bags. If you wish to discuss a different request please get in touch with our sales team.
From the regions of Guatemala, Acatenango offers us a unique climate to produce denser coffees. This blend was created with the idea of offering roasters access to an SHB with some fruit notes, chocolate notes, and a balanced body that is different to most traditional SHB’s from Guatemala. We love it as an espresso blend or simply for a drip, works both ways!
This coffee is produced by smallholders in Acatenango. The coffee is shade-grown in an area where the constant eruptions from the Volcan de Fuego (Fire Volcano) keep the soil full of minerals. The temperature averages from 13 to 30C and 48 to 72 inches of rainfall
