Nuevo Oriente has long been known as one of the biggest coffee regions of Guatemala. Volcanic soils, good levels of rain and cloudy days make for great yields for farmers. This region has been booming in recent years with producers focusing on improving milling practices and their operations. The temperature ranges from 14 to 25 degrees Celsius with 70 to 80% humidity and 72 to 80 inches of rainfall.
