Los Allahuines - Ocallí

Los Allahuines is how the producers from the Ocalli district are called. This because of a fairytale about the magic creatures that lives is the higuer mountains of the Amazonas region.
This group of producers innovated in their coffee varieties for the last years, that is how the have other varieties available and not the usual catimor, his profiles cup average is always high than 84 scaa points.
They are working a project called Alto Marañon Project and have technical assistance secure for three years in a row. This help them to have a better assistance and having a better coffee production every year. 
They are a very important group for the cooperative and always participate on developing new projects to improve their livelihood, the production of coffee.
As a cooperative, Valle Alto cooperative can offer to the coffee farmers, access to local financing with the program Agrobanco, governmental credits to the producers, to help them in every step of the coffee supply chain.
Also, Valle Alto cooperative can offer them too, access to international financing with the our finnancial partner FairCapital, who support fairtrade certified agrorural producers.
We are proud of all these coffee farmers who works in a collective way to improve the quality life of their families.
