Yirgacheffe UG

UG stands for Under Grade. This is a commercial grade from the Yirgacheffe area. The designation was created by the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) for lower grade coffees and traditionally has been purchased by large buyers due to the price point. This quality is not the core of Boledu's business. However, due to the impact of COVID-19 on the coffee sector and the wider demand for more competitive qualities, Boledu has sourced this lot to be offered to Europe via Algrano. The lot comes from multiple washing stations in the YIrgacheffe area and it is purchased via the ECX.
