A história do café

The coffee is collected from 188 farmers from nearby kebeles of the washing station who are registered with the company. All farmers have taken all the necessary training on different farming methods, quality, sustainability, organic farming and many others. The washing station has 140 raised beds with a pulper which processes 5000 kg per hour. 

O processamento

First coffees are collected from farmers by inspecting the quality then put it in the eco pulper bought from Penagos which removes floaters and clean the coffee and remove the mucilage. Which reuses the water. Then put it in soaking tank for 4-6 hours to remove left over mucilage. After it’s clean it’s taken to African raised beds for drying. After it’s dried to 11% moisture it’s put in warehouse until it’s transported to Addis Ababa for final process.
