Finca Santa Margarita is a coffee with history. Located at 1300masl along the cordillera of ataco illamatepec. The quality of the the coffee speaks for itself.
Owned by our Alfaro Family Relatives, this farm is currently privately owned but administered under MAV Alfa- Sourcing Project. Just like Our 3 single origins, this farm is under the management of Lean Coffee Management. Meaning, this coffee represents the same MAV philosophy, standards, quality and and harvesting strategy.
This coffee farm Mirrors our very own Finca San Antonio 1890.
With the only difference being the altitude. Having Finca Santa Margarita at 1300masal, allows for different profiles to express in these coffees.
Both farms have been renovated at the same time period with Sarchimor resilient varieties (by Don Julio Marquez from lean Coffee Management.) Meaning that it allows us to yield a resilient cup with clean flavours and a stable production.
