Idedo is a town located in Yirgacheffe Woreda, 10 Km Northeast of the city of Yirgacheffe. Yirgacheffe woreda is one of eight woredas found in the Gedeo Zone. Idedo and the surrounding highlands are known for producing the finest quality Yirgacheffe Type coffee. This is due to its high altitude and relatively cooler temperature. 

The farmer Mr. Kassu has been a coffee farmer for many years; however, 2021/22 is his first year processing his own harvest at his farm. Previously, Mr Kassu used to sale his cherries to the local mill owner. After seeing his neighbors who have been processing their coffees and earning better value, Mr. Kassu decided to processing his coffee at a 20 beds mill he set up at his farm.
