La historia del café

CAFÉ DE LA TORRE was created in 2014, our coffee is collected in a farm called Hoyo Frío, located
in the municipality of Curití, Santander, Colombia, 40 minutes and 18 km from San Gil. It is a farm
that began its coffee process since 2003, has 11. 5 hectares planted with coffee, with the firm
purpose of promoting the work and time that each year the farmer dedicates to the cultivation of
coffee, improving their income and their quality of life with fair payments. This year 2023 the farm
expanded with another land of 43 hectares, with a height of 2,000 above sea level.
When the Café de la Torre was created in 2014, started the processes of export and treatment
of other special varieties of coffee, today we export to 28 countries, currently there are approximately
82,500 coffee plants planted. We work in cooperation with other Colombian farmers and
farms, from the department of Cauca to the Sierra nevada de Santa Marta; supporting each
other with the firm purpose of encouraging work and helping peasant families; valuing the time
the farmer spends every year growing coffee, improving his income and quality of life.
