La historia del café

Misadhi is the leading processing facility in this region, covering all of west Kisii County, Migori, South West Nyamira County, and Homa Bay Counties. We have organized farmers and expanded our membership to 1100 members. These members utilize one of the over 100 weighing stations we have installed across various areas, significantly simplifying and reducing the cost of getting their cherry to market.

Each cherry delivery from each farmer is inspected, and only ripe red cherries are accepted. Our insistence on accepting only fully ripe cherries has resulted in a quality that surpasses most others. The cherries are collected by one of our trucks and delivered to the mill where they are pulped within 8 to 12 hours of picking.

Once the cherries are weighed and inspected, each farmer receives full payment by the next day. Misadhi has revolutionized how business is conducted in this area. We monitor the flavor of each weighing station and use this information to produce some of the best wet processed and natural coffee you have ever experienced.
