Java Tlogo Plantation Aanerobic Natural Robusta

Tlogo Plantation is a 71 Hectare estate owned and managed by the provincial government of Central Java.  With about 59,000 productive trees it is part of a larger agricultural concern the provincial government manages to increase farmer resiliency and serve as a center of excellence.  

Tlogo was once an occupied land of the Dutch East Indies. At the time the plantation was maintained and operated by Indonesians but they reaped no benefits of their labor. Originating in the 1850s Perkebunan Tlogo  was managed by the Dutch company NV Culture Maatschappij until the 1950’s this land was returned to the new Indonesian nation and a new chapter would begin for this plantation.

Bright Java has partnered with Tlogo in order to see this plantation's growth as a leader in coffee innovation. The plantation’s current directing manager approached Bright Java with only one request: “We want to be better and we think you can help us.” Our R&D team and production teams have worked tirelessly to produce with and educate Tlogo's staff in creating a Robusta product that set apart from commodity coffee.
