El Refugio del Roaldo y El Bobo Estate is a family farm acquired in 1948 and during the following years, they began to grow coffee and cattle. At that time there was no coffee in that region. The coffee plantation was cultivated by 6 siblings (3 males and 3 females) at the same time they were studying. Today the farm is managed by the fourth generation of the family. They are very motivated and do different things to obtain better quality and productivity through plantation renovations, genetic improvement and assistance in the coffee plantation. Coopelibertad R.L. is dedicated to the farmers and works hand in hand to strengthen the coffee industry and coffee families, especially with those who are doing extraordinary work like this.
