Sidomulyo Robusta Natural EK1 Grade 1

 Kelompok Tani Sidomulyo or Ketakasi for short is the name of the farmer group that covers Sidomulyo Village in the region of Jember East Java.  We have chosen to work with this single group to export robusta because we can guarantee traceability and quality by focusing on only one area.

Ketakasi for short was formed in 2007 in East Java. It's goal was to organize a disparate group of farmers in Sidomulyo Village. Since that time the cooperative, which manages 600 hectares, 14 of which are certified organic, has won accolade after accolade in the local Indonesian coffee scene.  For example in 2011 their coffee placed third for robusta in the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute's annual contest for best coffees in the archipelago.  With a vision to bring cultural and social sustainability to nature and local farmers they continue to show that smallholder farmers in Indonesia can produce great coffee.
