Gayo’s Best Lab story begins with one farmer in Central Aceh with a vision for holistic development. Before owning his own coffee plantation, Voster was an agriculture and animal husbandry trainer. He develop a concept of integrated farming system, and help other small-holder farmers in the region of Atu Lintang & Arul Gele, Aceh to increase their coffee quality and transforming critical lands into fertile farms.

Kamala means “lotus” as well as “pale red” in Sanskrit. Kamala offers different arrays of fruity, boozy, and out of this world flavours. Gayo’s Best Lab and Catur Coffee Company achieved this through the use of mostly anaerobic natural technique as well as terroir- specific inoculants.
