Finca la cabaña is located in the Chapas village in the municipality of nueva Santa Rosa, department of Santa Rosa; Finca la cabaña has belonged to the family for four generations. in 2015 he attended and attended the award ceremony of the first regional coffee competition in Guatemala carried out by Anacafe, which implanted in him the goal of being awarded in the next competition, taking the necessary training in crop nutrition and search for attributes that highlight the flavor of the cup, he managed to obtain 3rd place in the category of washed coffees (SHB). Motivated by the results obtained, he began to implement honey and natural processes in which he was also successful. In the 3rd competition he obtained 1st and 2nd place in the semi-washed process (honey) and 2nd place in washed coffees (SHB).
