High quality from small scale mexican producers

Ensambles is a network of people working together in Mexico to provide great quality Mexican coffee to the world. Our network includes coffee growers, mills, logisticians, quality control specialists in Mexico; and roasters around the world. The project of Ensambles started off with a bio-dynamic farm in the state of Veracruz, which is now a unique research and development centre around regenerative agriculture. There are only two bio dynamic coffee farms in Mexico! Our belief is that diverse and healthy ecosystems are the basis for economic stability and social welfare. In parallel, we are sourcing coffee across four coffee producing states of Mexico, with the aim of elevating Mexican coffee’s reputation in the international market. We work with small scale growers (1-hectare farms on average) to provide for and access the specialty market. The small farm size and low productivities of Mexico require a lot of collaboration and organisation in the country of origin to be able to access differentiated markets.
