Our strive for quality

Marino Vargas is a farmer dedicated to his community and a coffee lover. He has been there from day 0 and has participated in several trainings for sustainable practices, coffee grading and quality assurance. He treats his land as a living system, in which not only coffee grows, but its sourrounded and protected by other species of trees. Fertilizers used are all organic, brought from the coastline of Peru as part of a program of the Agriculture Ministry to use Guano-fertilisers 100% natural and rich in nitrogen. We will be during the 2021 installing a new solar drying house and attending fermentation courses to increase our quality and standardize it. Our washed beans have optained already amazing scores as specialty coffees (84-85) but we know we can do better. We dream of a customer-oriented processing of our cherries, highly controlled and measured, for which we are currently testing and testing and testing.
