During the period of the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, Jerika managed to sell amazing Anaerobic natural coffee.
By different farmers from Gitinda and Nyamiyaga. From the income of these sales, they managed to buy 50 pigs and 10 cattle to help them in social development.
As a green coffee company, Jerika has 2 washing stations located in the Northern Province. Gicumbi and Gatsibo region has been able to ship 4 containers from 2230 smallholders, in the last year 2020.
Jerika has started the new “Anaerobic natural processing” and has currently sold their stock during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
We have also gained 2 clients' testimonials, from South Korea and Saudi Arabia highly appreciating the amazing quality as they would like to continue supporting small farmers to develop their social lives such as health care and child education.
The owner of Jerika is the first youngest man in green coffee best in Rwanda. He mentioned that yes, the pandemic had some effects that led to low coffee production but with the Rwandan government regulations, Jerika developed a cashless and online marketing system with the coffee farmers, which will help to achieve at least 8 containers in this new season starting 25th-March as the first coffee will be available May 2021.
