Heavyweight roaster training to knock out the economy in 2024

Register for two training sessions

Get your roastery in shape

The economy is hitting hard. Prices are still going up, salaries are not catching up and consumers have less money. Maybe coffee will prove to be inflation-proof, maybe it won’t.

Roasters are entering 2024 with their guards up. After COVID-19, lockdowns, high costs, wars and climate change, everyone feels like they took a beating.

In times like this, we look for inspiration in the world’s most famous punch bag. “It’s not about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward”

Rocky wouldn’t have won the title without a coach in his corner. To prepare you to fight a bad economy, we invited heavyweight roasters to play Mickey in two rounds of training and coach you ahead of 2024.

They were interviewed for Algrano’s Market Trends Report 2023 and will join us for two 60-minute training sessions on Zoom. When they’re done, you'll be ready to throw the economy on the ropes.

Market Trends Report 2023

What are the challenges of specialty coffee roasters in the current economy? How are they being addressed? What are the resulting trends? How are they impacting coffee producers?

These are some of the questions answered by Algrano’s third Market Trends Report, dedicated to the specialty coffee segment.

The report explores the economic and environmental context behind the sourcing decisions of roasters in Europe and the USA.
