What differentiates your coffees from other growers?
PERGAMINO SALUDABLE (HEALTHY PARCHMENT), we aim at promoting, in the 37 bases, an efficient, economical and environmentally friendly option during the coffee drying process, further enhancing the cup quality in all our coffee varieties.
AUDITORIA 4.0 (AUDIT 4.0), we managed to efficiently develop our internal inspection processes using productive, environmental and social information, through IFORM software which is available on high-end tablets. This makes it easier for us to monitor and comply with the standards required to maintain our certifications.
MANOS FUERTES (STRONG HANDS) has been developed through workshops led by specialists in Leadership and Entrepreneurship, addressing topics such as roles and functions carried out by a manager, business processes, knowledge and interpretation of financial statements. Thus establishing a starting point for successful management.
SEMBRANDO MI FUTURO (SOWING MY FUTURE): once again we work along with Rikolto, this time to focus on the sustainable management of the biodiversity of our ecosystems through agroforestry practices, thus improving the coffee microclimates and obtaining a physical yield and superior cup quality.
WOMEN AND HONEY
Our APROREYNA project, in alliance with the NGO Rikolto Veco, aims at empowering women coffee growers with a business alternative that is also coffee friendly, thus contributing to the formation of diversified farms. We train them in commercial and business management and implement beekeeping modules to increase the production of honey and its derivatives.
HUELLA AMBIENTAL (ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT), a pilot study in which 51 of our organic and conventional coffee producing families participate. We aim at analyzing the life cycles of our production (from farm to port shipment) and thus obtaining sustainable production models allowing us to transform agriculture and reduce carbon emissions.
