NIHACOFA was founded in 2005 by 160 of parishoners(16 Females and 144 Males) who had gathered at Goli arch-deaconry for a meeting aimed at fighting proverty in households. Josh a canadian innitiated the idea of as association and bulk marketing of their coffee as one lot and he provided support including marketing.

The Membership has increased to currently 4404(919 Females & 3485 Males). Our main goal is improving quality of life of its member’s households through promoting sustainable production for better farm gate prices. NIHACOFA is purely owned by the members, who constitute the General Assembly (AGM) who appoints the the Board of trustees (BOT) headed by the Chairman on a three year renewable term limit. On a daily basis the organization is run by Management staff headed by the Business Manager. We are fully committed to production of high quality Arabica coffee and are oriented to meeting our custmers need
